Habi Works ("we", "us") is a Sydney-based AI services business run by a small team. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through habiworks.com. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as good practice, even where we may be exempt as a small business.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, company or organisation name (optional), email address and your message.
- Booking a call: when you book through our Cal.com calendar, Cal.com collects your name, email, chosen time and any notes you add, and shares them with us.
- Website analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you personally.
We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell or rent personal information.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, arrange and hold the meeting you booked, and understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site. We won't use your details for marketing unless you ask us to.
How it is stored and for how long
Contact form messages are sent to our email inbox; the website itself does not store them. We aim to keep enquiries for no longer than two years, unless you become a client or the law requires us to keep them longer. Bookings are kept in our Cal.com account and calendar. If you start the contact form and leave the page, your unsent draft stays only in that browser tab until you close it.
Overseas disclosure
This website relies on service providers that store or process data in the United States and other countries:
- Vercel (website hosting and analytics)
- Resend (delivers contact form emails to us)
- Cal.com (meeting bookings)
- Google (our email and calendar)
We choose providers with strong security practices and use them only to run this website and respond to you.
Please don't send confidential information
Please don't include client-confidential or privileged information in the contact form or booking notes. If we work together, we agree on a secure way to share documents.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it (unless the law requires us to keep it), by emailing hello@habiworks.com or using the contact form. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first. If we don't resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes
We'll update this page if our practices change and show the date of the latest update at the top.
